When you buy our frozen empanadas, you can keep them in your freezer in the original bag or other freezer containers until you bake them.
The empanadas must be bake using a conventional oven.
Pre-Heat the oven until the temperature reaches over 375F. While you wait for the oven to be ready, put the frozen empanadas on a baking tray and make sure to leave some space between them. Use the parchment paper to keep it from burning or sticking.
Beat a whole egg with a fork or a whisk until the egg whites and yolks are blended. Then using a natural bristle or silicone pastry brush, lightly brush over the frozen empanadas. This will make the crust shiny and brown.

Bake the frozen empanadas for 15 to 20 minutes at 375F. You might want to rotate the tray a couple times to ensure even baking. It doesn’t matter what kind of empanada are you baking, you can mix them up on the same tray since the filling is already cooked.
Once they are baked, it is possible to reheat using a microwave or conventional oven.

You can order our frozen empanadas directly from us (check out the menu) or from SkipTheDishes, DoorDash or UberEats.
