There are different food traditions around the world during Easter. Some are well know by everybody like the very famous Easter bread. Every country has their own recipe of Easter bread and almost everywhere you can find a version of the Easter bread during the season. Meals are also very particular since we usually do not consume red meat during Easter week and the previous Fridays. Meals like pasta, vegetables and fish are the preferred choices for some, but any other dish without red meat will do the trick.
A traditional Easter dish in Latin America are the Easter Empanadas or Empanadas de Vigilia. These empanadas are traditionally made with tuna fish as the main ingredient. They are very popular during Easter.
